How to enable a P/L chart
In DAS, you can visualize your profit and loss of both realized and unrealized current positions through a chart window.
First, you will need to enable this in your configurations in the top menu bar through “Setup”, “Other Configuration”, and search for “Enable P/L in chart – show P/L lines in chart window”. Enable it.
Next, open up a Chart from the top menu bar through “Quotes”, then “Charts”. Select the chart and type in !Account.REAL, !Account.UNREAL, or !Account.TOTAL (replacing “Account” with your trading account name), to view your account’s realized, unrealized, or total profit/loss.
You can also do this through right-clicking on the chart, going to “Configure” à “Data Config” and entering it into the “Symbol” input box.
*NOTE: You may need to close and restart your setup after enabling the settings and setting up the chart for the values to start showing up. Also, ensure that you have shares in your position to see results!
